Art Director
Company Type: Start-up
Location: Chicago
Type: Full-time
Company Description
Brick is transforming how people interact with technology - helping users minimize distractions, reclaim focus, and live more intentionally. We offer a physical solution that turns smartphones into tools for presence and productivity.
Our mission is to help people regain control over their technology so they can do more of what matters. As we scale and enter a new phase of growth, we’re looking for an Art Director to help shape and build the next chapter of the Brick brand.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Art Director with a strong eye for design and visual cohesion to own and evolve the look and feel of the Brick brand as we scale. This role is responsible for setting the visual bar for the brand and ensuring that every visual expression of Brick - across social, video, photography, web, email, and campaigns - feels intentional, cohesive, and on-brand.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Brand to define how Brick shows up visually and ensure that the bar is consistently met across internal work, agencies, and external partners. This is not a purely managerial or review-only role. It’s ideal for someone who leads through taste and direction, while also rolling up their sleeves - contributing hands-on when needed to create clarity, elevate execution, and move quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
